I made this on Friday. I don't really have any justification other than I was really sick, I couldn't sleep, and I had seen WM Armory's version earlier that morning and thought, "Hey, I could probably do that." I think it came out pretty well considering I just freehanded it (yeah, wasn't exactly thinking clearly) onto some ancient neoprene I found in the garage, cut it out (with scissors!), glued it, and painted it. I even screwed up the epoxy, but in such a way that it now looks like it's got grease all up in the corners, which is kinda cool. I took a picture in the sun and shade so you can see that it actually reflects almost like real metal, I was surprised. And yeah, I know Immortan Joe's emblem doesn't actually have a nasal cavity, but I thought it would look better with one, so hey. If I was going to make another one I would definitely make a template digitally first so it would come out more symmetrically, and cut it out with a knife so I could get some nice beveled edges.
And wow what category does this go in. There's no fanart category for props, and it's not strictly a costume, but... eh. Close enough.
