So apparently I never uploaded this. Which is... really weird actually. I could've sworn I posted it... But I just went through my gallery to see how I've been doing recently (have I not drawn more than this? I spend my whole school day drawing and I've submitted almost nothing), and I was like, "Wait..." So I guess I didn't. This was actually done a fair while ago, I couldn't find a png on my computer so I went back in and changed a few things (mostly fixing fur because I figured out a new way to paint fur YES) and saved a new one.
This is so weird... honestly thought I posted it...
Anyway, this is *QuebecoisWolf's prize for his awesome entry in my contest, which you can find here: [link] . Even if you completely hate fantasy, werewolves, nutty hyenas, et cetera, I'd reccomend giving it a read, and in general going through his gallery, he's got some really classy writing.
I somehow envisioned this cooler, but overall I think it came out okay. Kind of displeased with the statue, even after poking around with it weeks after "finishing" it. But I'm proud of the hyenas.

Aaaand while I'm on a half-art, half-social-media site, I might as well mention this... So I've never played Metal Gear Solid. I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what it's about (or didn't until... yesterday) other than there's a dude with something that doesn't quite qualify as a blindfold involved. And then I was happily reading one of my usual webcomics, and I decide to go the Links section, which has a bunch of other comics linked. And I click on this Metal Gear Solid parody comic (which ended several years ago; 2005-era layouts can be surprisingly refreshing), not realizing that that was what it's about. Have no idea what's going on, but read anyway. I actually become completely engrossed in the characters' antics and read through all 500 pages in two days, just finished earlier. And... they all die. Which I, not knowing anything about MGS, did not see coming. At all. I google, find out the characters featured were actually the villains. Youtube it, watch the characters' deaths, and very nearly cry. And have since felt extremely weird. In a sort of way that I can't describe. At all. Kind of reminds me of when I watched the first ten minutes or so of the Matrix when I was a little kid. I just felt exceedingly weird. Not in a mind-blown sense or anything like you'd expect out of the Matrix (I didn't get to the WHOA part), just kind of sad and at the same time feeling like I'm waiting for something to happen, and I feel like I can't quite think straight, like I'm missing something. Anyone else ever feel like that before?
Whoa, that got absurdly long. Sorry guys.
